This device left the manufacturer’s factory in safe and perfect condition.
To maintain this condition and to ensure safe operation, the user must observe the safety information and warning
notes in these operating instructions.
Observe the following symbols:
An exclamation mark in a triangle shows important notes in these operating instructions that must be
strictly observed.
The “arrow” symbol indicates that special advice and notes on operation are provided here.
This device is CE-compliant and meets the applicable national and international directives.
For safety and approval reasons (CE), unauthorised conversion and/or modication of the device are not permitted.
Consult an expert when in doubt as to the operation, safety or the connection of the device.
Meters and accessories have no place in the hands of children. Therefore, be particularly careful when children are
present.
Protect the product from extreme temperatures direct sunlight, high humidity, moisture, ammable gases, vapours
and solvents.
Do not operate the meter in rooms or under unfavourable conditions where combustible gases, vapours or dusts are
or may be present.
Avoid operation in direct proximity of strong magnetic or electromagnetic elds or transmission aerials. This could
affect the measurement.
Steam, dust, smoke and/or vapours may impair looks and lead to an incorrect measuring result!
When operating the laser device, always observe that the laser beam is guided so that no persons are present in
the projection area and that inadvertently reected beams (e.g. by reecting objects) cannot reach the area where
persons are present.
Laser radiation may be dangerous if the laser beam or a reection enters the unprotected eye. Therefore, familiarise
yourself with the statutory regulations and measures of precaution for the operation of this kind of laser device
before using the laser facility.
Never look into the laser beam and never point it at people or animals. Laser radiation can seriously damage your
eyes.
